Scuba Diving and Snorkeling

Throughout history, merchants and pirates frequented our Treasure Coast area in ships laden with bountiful treasures. Occassionally, one of these ships would run aground or wreck in a perilous storm, stringing the ocean floor with untold bounty. Because of these unfortunate accidents, snorkeling and deep sea diving have become extremely popular past times for locals and tourists alike, all looking for the “big find”. Abundant wildlife abounds at the living worm reef of Bathtub Beach as well as at numerous other natural and artificial reefs throughout the Treasure Coast, each offering a glimpse into another underwater world.
